Hello, i am looking for a program that will encode my .avi movies to a dvd format and then burn it onto my disc with 1 CLICK so i can then walk away. I am currently using DVDflick with ImgBurn which should do it in 1 click but i have to keeep coming back to Build my disc and then Write my disc with ImgBurn. I love DVD Flick though as it has an awsome interface and is easy to use. Also, ImgBurn doesnt always work for me and it messes up my DVD's. Any suggestions for a new program that is just as easy as DVD Flick and the guide for it? Thanks.

FAVC might fill the bill. It can open ImgBurn. Haven't tried to see if it will automatically burn, but you can add your own scripts to any part of the process, so you could probably script it to pass a command line to ImgBurn.

ICOPYDVDs2 + AnyDVD
Double click to open program
One click to satisfy the program that you're only backing up a disc you own (disclaimer)
One click to copy entire disc
One click to tell program to burn to non-reading drive
It's about as simple as they get and the program works very well
I'd rate it 8½/10 . . and I'm a pretty picky SOB!!

I like VSO's convertxtodvd. Very easy to use and also joins .avi clips together. They have just released new version but I found an error in the way it translated video format 4:3, 16:9 etc. So for the time being try http://www.vso-software.fr/download_prod...php?product=cx2
By the way this software is not free but try the trial version and if you like you can buy.

I like Xilisoft. It seems to have convert in much better quality and sound. Of course once it coverts the avi to an iso image you will have to go in there manually and burn it. Xilisoft is shareware so you will have to pay but in my opinion it is worth it,
I tried DVD Flick and my final result with the movies was poor quality in the picture it self, the sound was distorted and jumpy when the screen would fade to black, so I uninstalled it and got something I knew would work.
But than again to each their own.

I have yet to see a program that will do what you want with only "one" click.

1 program process? I thought they were all outlawed?
1)Anydvd-enabled in the background
2)Dvd shrink-set to autoburn with nero
3)Nero6-you won't even realize it's doing the burning.
Once you get the settings correct,Dvd shrink is the only program that you open up.But with the ever evolving encryption, you gotta have a few different ways to get around them.
