my h500 headset was doing what ever problem you could come up with but now i have figured out how to get it to connect right everytime without it freezing the controller. it may seem simple but it took me 2 weeks to realize this and it does work both for my3 friends and i who used to have the same problems with our motorola bluetooth headsets. all you have to do is when you pair your bluetooth headset with your ps3 make sure he controller you are using is connected by usb cable to your ps3 and that thre are no wireless controllers conncted. this prevents the ps3 of pairing your controller signal and your controller signal as one signal thanx please try really works would love comments to see if it works for all of you

Hi, there is a much simpler way to do this... I too have the same Motorola headset and use it frequently with the PS3 for online gaming and communication. The best way I found is when you first start up the PS3, turn on your controller wirelessly, then turn on your headset, both should still work fine, and as soon as you start up the game, they will both work a charm

Sorry if this doesn't work for you, but try it... It works fine for me :)
