I'm having a big problem Ripping a xbox360 with WxRipper. I keep getting errors after the process is done and the files are only 215MB... He's my example:

I've change the layout file 3 times! I changed the first three C's in to D's and and the last two C's in to D's as you see below:

I've followed all of the instruction from this thread correctly:http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/461627
I just don't what to do anymore! could someone please help!

Spend $60 and buy a Samsung Kreon drive, that's the best way, making backups your way is a total pain, I have been there, done that. The Samsung was the best thing I ever bought.

Is any Samsung SH-D162(A,C, or D) good to use or do I only suppose to use the SH-D162C and SH-D163A version?

I got a 163A (sata) one, there is a newer one out, search "kreon samsung" and you will find it. Yeah, man, if you can afford like $60 now or so, definitely do it. WxRipper is a pain in the butt and the Samsung works great. The only time it doesn't work is if the disk has a deep scratch. Then you're SOL.

Did you get yours from eBay? I'm hoping you say no because I can't use eBay because my Paypal is screwed! Those monopolizing/bulling a-holes!

Try searching for any modchip etc suppliers in your area or country, with any luck they'll have the drives your after,by rights they'll supply the software needed on an already flashed dvd-rom
xbox backup creator-is the free? software used to make the backups
kreon checker is the flash for the rom drive for pc
PS: You can also flash the rom drive of the 360 to read games as well, here's an example of the sort of modchip site i'm talking about
http://www.x-mods.co.nz/ ,the samsung drive is pictured, the flash for the 360's drive is to the right of the samsung drive in a box named top 5 & it's number 2 in the list

for the v1.0 fw, just google it, you will come up with MANY sites that have it, other than xbins. also, check your torrent sites, as they probably have it as well.
