Mod chip magic 3 help. point A fell off!

After installing my magic 3 chip I tested my ps2 with a burned program. If worked fine. Then I went to put my ps2 back to one piece. When I went to ply that cd I got the red box. I tryed it a few more times but it would not start. So I opened it back up and look at it. Point A disconnected so I went to re-solder it. But while doing that the part that you solder to fell off. Does any one know what the value if this is? Is a capacitor or a resistor? I tryed to measure it with my meter but it did not read.

Can you get us a picture of your install diagram that you used to put in in chip? Might help to know what part your talking about.

heres the pic. Point A is a SMD component, If fell off after I over heated it. I tryed to measure it but could not get a reading.

Is there a mod chip that is around $0-$20 that does not have a point a? The ps2 works without it, but it wont play backups.

Every chip I've done has had a point A. I'm guessing you have no spare mother boards? You can just take the part off another Mobo.

Eh, it fine I removed the chip completely(the ps2 still works!) and ill sell it to some one else.
