Hi I've got an old Version 4 SCPH 35001 and trying to install a Mod Chip Pro+ 2.0 the diagrams show a Gap or No Gap BIOS. How do I identify which bios I'v got. Does gap bios mean that legs were removed by Sony or is it a version or part number on the BIOS chip? I've searched the forums and the net trying to find an answer. Hope someone can help me out.

The V4 has two different bios chip versions. The GAP version has a space in between the pins. Right in the middle. The NO GAP chip has no space. That's all.
