Where can i buy a samsung sd-616t dvd drive? I want to replace my xbox crappy drive with this one. i was told this samsung is the one i need.

You can find original ones and ones modded for xbox use on EBAY. Anywhere from 40.00 to 100.00. I buy from there all the time, only unmodded ones. You can also try the Buy & Sell forums at xbox-scene.com There is a guy who sells premodded plug n play ones. But word of advice, Buy the XBOX Samsung SD-605 if you are gonna spend the $100.00 on a pre-mod. The SD-616t doesnt read the Chameleon Flash disc at all. Other than that I have experienced no difference. Other than hacking the shit otu your XBOX case to install one, only to never be able to put in an original drive the right way again.

Just do a search for Samsung 616t or try XBOX DVD Rom Samsung. You should get some results.

if its the samsung drive you want that was made fo rthe xbox just type sdg605 or sdg-605
I saw one go for $70 the other day, but usually they sell around $100 or so
