Now I have loaded a few games through my computer using winhhip and it says 37.13 GB used and 90.88 GB free. Why is there a difference with winhip and hdloader.

Winhip should say I have about 270 GB free not the 90.88. Should I have formatted using winhip? Winhip does recognize it as a drive with 298 GB capacity, but it still says only a different amount of free space?

Is this an error with winhip? Should I use a different program?

you don't have 48bit enabled. go into winhiip, select the ps2 hdd, choose options and mark 48bit HDLoader.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Was it advertised as a 250 GB HD? Or does the computer recognize it as 250? If it is advertised as a 250 GB HD, the 233 GB is correct, because you will lose some space when the HD is formatted, this happens even when formmatted for a computer, though you lose more formatting for PS2. The HD i am using is a 320 GB HD and formatted to 298 usable.
