hey if anyone can help me that would be nice. Im having trouble with my xbox i tried softmodding it using splinter cell it was done and i had the unleashedx dashborad on it but i don't have any apps i can't boot to the original ms dashborad i can't do anything if someone could could help me that would be great im mostly playing halo 3 online my gamertag is justinekelburg you can send me message if you wan't well later

Okay so you have Unleashx as your dash, that's good. When you say you can't boot to the M$ dash, what exactly do you mean? You try the M$Dash option from unleashx and it doesn't work? You don't know how to shift to the original M$dash to go on live? As far as not having any apps, do you mean they're gone or you just wanted to tell us you don't have any other applications? You can't do anything...Like what do you want to do that you can't? Were you able to do stuff before, and what stuff is that? Re-read your post from the perspective of someone trying to help you..Remember the more info you give, the better diagnostic you get.

im sorry i have the unleashedx dashborad i backed up the ms dashborad when i was installing it and the eeprom i did all that and when i got done there where no apps and when i wen't to system setting's the hdd said it was lock and plus i tried doing it again both the soft mod files were missing so i can't use the game to try to soft mod it again any ideas

no i have the evox dashborad there is no apps the ms dashborad is high lighted red i can't go to it i tried redoing it nothing works the softmod files are missing it's like the whole hdd was wiped out any ideas

Yeah, the dashboard did that to me too. It doesn't install the apps for you. You have to install those. You can use AID to do so.

EDIT: Turn your Xbox on by opening the DVD tray, that should do the trick.
Also use File Explorer, and click the "C" drive, and click the file named something like "xboxdash.xbe". That will surely boot the M$ Dashboard.

EDITx2: The HDD will always be locked, it has to be or the Motherboard will reject the HDD.

i tried that already but i keep going to the unleashedx dashborad and i can't use file explore because thats not there ether
