when it comes to the patapon game you have to go to the recovery menu and change the option to (umd required). put in a psp game disk. also go to advance configurations and disable both options. it should work after that.

I had that problem aswell, was a simple fix really. Have your PSP turned on then hold R and turn it off, then turn it on doing that same thing and you should boot to your recovery menu thing which is a black screen with red font. This is where you can change your boot settings and such.
Once you reach this screen, may take a try or two turning the PSP back on with the R shoulder pad being held down while turning the PSP on, but once you do this and get to the screen scroll down to configuration, from there go to UMD mode, then press X to change it to Sony NP9660 -No UMD-. then go up to and press on Back, then go down and press on Exit. Try booting the game up now and it should work ^_^

have yo u tried changing the cpu speed to 333mhz (shouldn't need to be that high as the game is about 300mb max)
also if it is a cso convert it back to an iso see if that fixes the problem.
if all else doesnt work the it will be a bad rip re rip the game or redownload it from another source that should fix it 0_<
hope that all helps

right i have uploaded ages ago the v2 addon for 3.71m33 with the 1.50 update in it all you have to do is copy the folder update to your psp GAME371 folder (if you dont have one make one in same place where the game folder is but not in game) in the update folder there is the 1.50 update named 150.pbp you need to move that to the root of the psp
so like this
X:\150.pbp
X:\psp\game371\update
heres the [link] to the update
hope that helps 0_<
