A friend of mine gave me a screener of Things We Lost in the Fire and I was trying to back it up with DvdFab it would not do it at all. So, then I tried Shrink and it did it with no problem.

taylor30,

That is very unusual. I'm guessing it's maybe because it no longer has copy-protections; hence, there's no need to decrypt it.

taylor30 screeners are for video store owners to view to see if they might want to buy that movie for rental at thier store, theese are not ment to be given to the general public for view or copying, to do so is aginst the law, i am sure that there is a watermark in the movie saying just what i have posted, so what you are doing is piracy, and you should not be talking about makeing a copy of this disk!

Agree with rdmercer...this is not really a good topic for discussion, due to legal ramifications.

A mod will be along shortly.

Technically speaking, he did not ask for help/questions on how to copy the movie. He didn't say he burned a disc either...just "tried" to see if it would rip to HDD,and then deleted the files...right? LOL!

Shrink and it did it with no problem- DVD Shrink does not burn by itself...no other application is mentioned(except DVDFab, that did not work):~)!
