guy's do i really need to hardmod psp slim battery to install pandora's battery?
can i use psp fat battery when im installing pandora's battery?
because datel tool battery and psp fat battery are both in 3.6v and 1800mAh
pandoras battery works by removing (I think correct me if im wrong) the eeprom from the battery. the datel tool battery already has it removed where as the normal phat psp battery has it still there unless you remove it by useing a psp that has cfw already or by hard modding the battery.

if you don't have access to another psp that already has custom firmware, the you either buy the datel tool battery or hardmod.
if you were to hardmod, using the original fat 1800mAh is recommended.

pandora's battery works by reflashing the battery eeprom to 0xFFFFFF. that enables it to become a service mode battery. when you hardmod, it automatically disables the standard eeprom. then when you resolder the pin or reflash the original eeprom, it becomes a normal battery again.
