I am trying to back up my xbox matrix game, but it comes to 4.77 gigs and says it is too big, I also had this problem with gotham racing and having to delete the stuff in the extras folders like demos and stuff, but I dont know what I need to do for the matrix........ anyone?? What do I need to do to make it small enough to fit on a dvd-r ???? Thanks in advance.

Ok listen up...
FORGET EVERYTHING you heard about backing up xbox games by making iso's.
Here is the EASIEST possible way....
First ftp into xbox, send files to your computer
Second, download Nero newest version, I believe 6
Make sure its on "dvd" not cd, go down to "udf" in the list (2nd from last)
-The tabs change, click the "udf" tab and click the bottom box "force dvd compatibility mode (required for xbox tm)" and then click "new"
Drag the files you sent over, burn, WALAH! Your done. No iso's, no bullshit. Straight to the point, easiest way.

What exactly is so hard about creating an .iso image?? I tinkered with Nero 6 so much to backup x-box games, and have found the only reliable method is creating an iso image bith craxtion then using Record Now. Never had a wasted disc!

i doubt Nero will patch the xbe's either. so those of us running older bios's will still need a patcher.

stfu n00b, are you stupid? how many games you got, 5? i got over 100 and they all work perfectly and i only used nero for the burn. you wanna act like you're 12 and call people stupid, get the fuck out of here. if you want to be helpful and stick around, grow the fuck up. just because you got nero to work for you a couple of days ago doesn't mean it's the answer for everything.

He'll be back - when he cant get a game to work!
That Nero facility is just there for use with xbox burning. It doesnt neccessarily patch the games for you - in fact it doesnt at all

Good for you! All I'm saying is that your argument as it being the "easiest way" is flawed. Its whatever the individual finds is easiest that normally works best.
I personally haven't had much success with Nero for xbox backup's but there we are
