I've been trying to figure this nonsense out for 2 days now.

I have an older 360 with a samsung-toshiba ms25
I used iprep to get up a usb flash boot
it detects the drive.. sorta.

I do the dSam command, select the drive but then it says "Port:d800, master/slave:a0" and pauses and does nothing.
When i try to control c to end process i get the error "No SAM-OFW.bin Found"

This is where i thought i bricked it. So i burned a enable800 dvd. getting no reaction from the dvd usage.

it just stops at Port:d800, master/slave:a0.

Any tips would be awesome.

ok i prep is for the new benq drives ..to flash a ms 25 its simple do this ....make sure you have your mtkflash and every thing set up right ...then just plug your drive into the sata port .unplug your hard drive dvd drive.turn on xbox turn on computer...type in mtkflash r /sata/ orig.bin...should come up with xtreme port with a number beside it ..hit that number should read your drive .when done turn off xbox plug every thing back in make your hacked firmware..turn off computer unhook every thing turn on ox turn on computer type in mtkflash w /sata/ ix14.bin(or whatever your firmware is ) thats it its done .
