Im useing a Maxtor 250G HD when I use HD Loader it sees 233Gigs & when I use Hiip or HDL Dumb only get to see 127Gigs.

Please help !

I personally would like to reformat it and get it all going right.

Pretty sure you need to select the drive in Winhiip, go to options, select 48-bit support and then you should be able to use all the space available.

Yeah i done that still reads 233gig but did some more researh it seems that it is correct that you lose that space i did it with Winhiip Hdloader & HD Advance all enabled 48bit and got the same results 233gig. Also read some posts & other threads regarding this and it seems that 233gig is the avialbale useage of the drive which is not bad at all.

Same thing with a 20 GB hard drive I found. I'm only able to use the first 18GB, not the whole 20GB.

It does take 2gig for the format.
