hi

i have a PS2 slim and Matrix Infinity v1.88 chip and the problem is that i put in the codebreaker 9.3 disc in its loading the cheats i save on the MC and its all good until i choose the cheats press "start game" and its gets stuck on " please wait starting game"
someone please help me baecuse i have traid already everything

my version 8.1 codebreaker did the same thing to me. for the life of me i couldnt figure out what was going on. then i thought "maybe my save file got corrupted" so i tried it without my memory card in and it worked. luckily i had a backup of that same file and i recopied it. i loaded a game save from my memory card and it worked too. if this doesnt work i dont know what to tell you. good luck though.

ok but where can i backup the save of codebreaker? beacuse i have lots of codes in it.... so explain to me again step by step please

a game i was trying to play was a game i added codes for later. when you add codes with your codebreaker it saves it to your memory card. it would freeze on me so i simply deleted the save file with the codes off of my memory card and started all over again. i resaved the codes and they all worked... no more freezing.

well that aint work to. i erase the save file with the codes and i put new codes codes and than saved it and thats still freeze, i dont know what to do!!

the only modchip that supports cheating devices is the crystal chip. as far as i know, the matrix infinity, dms4, and others don't support them.

but if i will update my chip from 1.88 to 1.91 the codebreaker will work?

no. updating won't fix it because the matrix infinity doesn't support any cheating devices.

only the crystal chip supports cheating devices.

get yourself the new codebreakers v10 disc..there were a lot of problems with the older disc..the infinity will run gameshark, and codebreakers just fine.. there might be a slight chance you'll have to turn macrovision off from the chip..just press triangle and circle while the ps2 boots and that'll take you to the infinity menu..turn that off and see what happens. what's cool with codebreaker is you can transfer your memory card saves to a usb flash drive and vice versa..i keep my memory card clean with just the game i'm playing @ the moment and i keep my saves in a folder on my computer..only thing that sucks is you CANT use your flash drive as a memory card..you can only transfer..if i misread what the point of this post was i apologize..i just saw about infinity and not supporting cheat devices..just wanted to add my 2 cents.
