Hi,

I have a PS2 and fitted a samsung 400gb drive to it, its on list as ok.
I format with winhip and load games on ok, but in PS2 doesnt seem to do anything.

I have discs for hd loader and they boot but just get the sony logo and then all stops.

I bought my network adaptor second hand on ebay, could it be stuffed?

Anyway of checking?

I cant see any lights (hdd lights on front inside) come on when PS2 boots

Any help appreciated

Do i need to press anything as it boots?

Update!!

I got it working with hd loader 0.8 dvd.

So drive and network etc all work, however I just loaded all my games on, I have a chipped station and a few are backups.

Can you play back ups from the hdd if you are chipped or must they all be originals to work from hdd?

Any info appreciated greatly
