Can you play ps1 backups on ps2.

Ok Guys,

Im sure this has been asked before but, im not clear as to how and if it can be done with the options that have so this is what im useing currently.

PS2 Fat V1
MC Exploit(Key Launcher)
Action Replay Max
PS2 Hardrive

Now with these options can I play my PS1 Backups(cd-r) on my PS2 or Is there a way to load PS1 games to the hardrive.

Im sure you can but I don't know how. Try to just pop in a backup as you do for a PS2 game and see if it works.

ps1 games on hdd = not possible. hdloader only reads ps2 games.

the only way to get ps1 backups working is with gameshark2 v2 ps1 disc and a slidecard. the gameshark MUST BE a v2, so you will have to look on ebay or search around.

otherwise, you'll need a modchip.

Not worth the hassle since they have emulaters and i have an old ps1 modded if i need to i can breakout the system to play it lol
