I've been playing my PS3 on my Sony VPL-HS51 LCD projector. I've had the connections set to component video and 1080i. Well, my projector lamp died a couple weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to get my new one in the mail. I'm dying to get back to my games, so I pulled out an old Sony Trinitron that can't display anything but 480p, I changed out my connections on the PS3 and hooked up the bare-bones A/V cables, thinking that the PS3 would automatically adjust settings back to default. Well the PS3 must be still using the same settings that I was using with my projector b/c all I have is black screen. I can't see the menu to change my settings back. Anyone know of a way to reset the PS3 back to default without a monitor? Thanks
