I have a Crystal Chip 1.2 installed in my PS2. Is there a point of patching games if this modchip is installed in my PS2? Would it hurt to patch a game, just in case?
What patch are you talking about?
DNAS, Region, MOD???
If its DNAS then there's no need as Crystal chip handles it.
but if you want to do it, then go ahead no harm can come as long as
you do it right.
When I used to use Swap Magic, I had this PAL game that wouldn't work on my NTSC console using Swap Magic, then I used a patcher on it, then the game worked. I think that problem might happen again.
Okay. but as for PS2 games, you shouldn't have any trouble. but you
may have to patch PSX games in order to play(that is unless you intend to play them).
