3.90 m33-2 iso issues

I have FF Tactics in iso form. I loaded onto my memory stick (4gb sony) and it worked fine except i couldn't load a saved game or when I went to save a game I had to delete the previous entry. So I reformatted the memory stick. Unrared and recopyed the game to the stick and now the game won't work at all. I put the game in root/iso. Am I doing something wrong?
