Just a quick question, would THISmemory stick work in exactly the same way as the official Sony ones for playing game backups? I know some are fakes and dont work, but ware the Sandisk ones OK?

Yep, that's the same one I have although I got it for much cheaper from Amazon. I got it for £30 free p+p. I bought it from amazon directly rather then buying off one of the sellers as the sellers are selling fakes.

All the Sandisk ones i have bought have been genuine, like most things though price generally dictates quality, Even fake cards can play back ups.

Fake cards can play backups, but after use they tend to stop working or become corrupt. A friend of mine bought a fake Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo for £13 and when testing it, the actual size of the card was 1GB.

You are better off with genuine cards as they will last you longer and you are gauranteed to get the size you paid for.
