Hello,

I have currently installed the exploit files for my Quake II disc, but I cannot seem to get any back ups to work... Please help. I don't understand these instructions, please "dumb it down" for me.

"Once CogSwapLoader loads up it will say PSX CDROM at the bottom...to load any
homebrew app on cd or CD based games, not dvdrips,(that are formatted like
real PS2 CD's) from this point you simply have to SWAP disks and then press
X....To load one of your legal backup games you must have an original PS2 game
that is larger in data size than the backup. It doesn't have to be the same
game at all. This is called a High TOC (Table of Contents) disk. Put the High
TOC disk in the PS2 normally using the eject button and CogSwapLoader will
then read it and show PS2 DVDROM at the bottom of the screen verifying it
recognizes it. Then to load your backup, SWAP it with your high TOC disk and
press X. It will say USE COGSWAP for some reason and then press X again. Your
backup should load with the PS2 tricked into thinking an original disk is in
the drive so no need to reauthenticate the disk."

Thanks.

u have the elf for cogswap. u take out the trigger disk when u start cogswap, and place in an original ps2 game. press x and then either use a slide card ( http://www.exploitstation.com/articles/FAQ.html ) or a cut out fliptop lid ( http://www.exploitstation.com/articles/flippy%20guide.php ) and put in your backup game. press x and voila! your backup works!
