I know this may be slightly off topic(but it is part of my backing up ritual)and I want to first thank everyone for the great help this forum has given me in backing up my vast DVD collection. There is ALWAYS an answer here. When I back up I usually go soup to nuts...print label directly onto the disc (Epson R340)...print a CD case insert (Mediaface) and place it in a slim case CD, putting the original in storage. Anyone else notice that most of the new releases have plain silver/grey printed discs? It's not just one company either. Is there a reason for this trend? Any opinions?
