Help !!

I am very new to DVD backup, I got a recorder for Xmas, but I am not totally computer illiterate. My problem is that I have downloaded the DVD shrink software, and have been able to back up my movies to my hard drive successfully, such that I can play the movie from there, but when I try to back it up to a DVD disk, it doesn't work ... either the menus don't work, the audio is missing on most tracks, etc ... and if I put the new disk in my regular DVD player it says "disk error" ... so apparently copying to my Memorex DVD RW drive isn't working. Any advice???

1. take the roxio
2. put it in the trash.
3. get Nero, recordnow max, CloneDVD.

People just havent had success with roxio. I tried Nero and recordnow and was successful with recordnow. You will have to play to find what is successful for you.
