Just pretend you're on 3.71 M33-4 or a firmware below and just try to upgrade to it. Basicaly read the readme and upgrade to it. I don't think you should worry that it's a lower firmware version because all the OE firmwares could downgrade to each other and I'm assuming all the M33s can too.
