I bought a 4GB memory stick but now I see I could have bought an 8GB memory stick for the same price so I want to take my 4GB stick back. So all I gotta do is format it right and it will be back to normal? Nothing is messed up on it because i installed the custom firmware with it right?

It's just common sense... If the firmware was on the memory stick then it would really suck... If you turn on the PSP without the memory stick, it wont turn on? Ok...

Ya I kinda knew that it wasn't on the memory stick I guess the only question I had was using the firmware on that memory stick do anything funny to it. Guess not, just making sure! :)

Also another question!
Should I format it with the psp or in windows?

Windows, formatting it on the PSP will make all the PSP folders on it :)

if your psp alreadly has cfw, then format with psp, cause some folders need to be made from psp
