I HAVE to find this older version of these dvdfabs, so I can reinstall them, then successfully uninstall this program. I tried to update what I have and it just did a seperate install. When I try to remove either program, I get a unins000.dat does not exist. Can not uninstall.
I searched and searched for these versions, and it's like they do not exist, or I just keep getting routed back to dvdfab's homepage, and it states they are not available.
HELP!

Have you tried removing it with Ccleaner?

No. I've never had luck, only screwing something up using cleaners.
Maybe the one you talk of is fail safe? I'll give it a shot. Thx

Ccleaner is a great registry cleaner. I use it often. I don't think you'd have too much of a problem using it safely.

ok, ccleaner is on my system. where do i need to go to help uninstall these 2 programs. I did go to "tools" and tried to uninstall from there but same results. Please help with what to do.
I see that when something is deleted it is permanent, so I must be careful, this is not my machine. Thank you

Download unlocker and right click on your folder to delete all the files, then use Ccleaner to fix any registry erros etc.

TIA for your patience. I'm not at my machine now. I install unlocker, then right click on what folder?
Then just use Ccleaner on the registry section?
I analyzed the entire pc last night with Ccleaner and there was many meg of stuff it would like to have gotten rid of, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.
Thx

drmax,
You can just basically delete the directory folder of the application in Program Files. This will leave some scraps on your computer but nothing major. It seems that you have already tried to uninstall the application once, and the uninstallation went wrong...Then, as previously stated, use CCleaner to purge all registry issues.
