hi all. just a few days ago i was modifying my friend's new slim psp and i just could not convert his battery to pandora. i got to use my fat psp's battery to modify his fw. is that a new battery that Sony develop? i use corly149 to make a pandora battery. it works great previously with numerous slim and fat psps. please clarify. thanks.

From what i've herd on another site (I believe it was PSP-Hack somewhere in the main page news thread), Sony has released a "Pandor Proof" battery for there slims. At this point I cant confirm but I would stick to the old batteries for now.

PS. this is another site i saw it on...

oh, if that is true, then we may be in for trouble later on because what if Sony decides to change their so-call 'new' psp console battery compartment such that older batteries do not fit and there would be no chance of modifying those 'new' psps unless there is a way to hard mod the 'new' battery to make it a Pandora or equivalent. well, that is just my thoughts.

Yeah i heard about that as well. However, I don't think it would be that hard. the only thing that needs to connect it the three pins from the battery to the psp. it may not look pretty but i would even feel comfortable modding the shap of the battery.
