my psp has 3.80 can i play downloaded games?

hi everyone im new in to haking the psp if anyon could help me ill thank u !!
my psp is a brand new one and it has a 3.80 software can I play games that i downaload and if yes, how can i play them in my psp.

you need to put custom firmware on your psp. to do that you need a pandora battery. if you know someone with cfw then they can make the battery you have a pandora battery. it can be changed back later. if you don't then you will either have to make your own by cutting (and pretty permanently changing) some pins on a battery or you can google a datel tool battery that has already been changed. then go hereto make the magic memory stick and learn how to downgrade your psp.

no but if you downgrade it if phat psp with pandoras battery and then install cfw then yes
if slim you will need to use pandoras battery but install cfw insted of 1.50

since it's brand new with 3.80 i would think that it's a slim. You mentioned not going to 1.5... why would you do that with a fat since you can use pandora to go right to 3.71m33 etc? wouldn't you just be upgrading to cfw from 1.5 anyway? just wondering. thanks.

yup, u can upgrade from anithing OFW to 3.71 m33 with pandora battery and ms (called universal unbricker v3)
