Hey,
I am looking to mod my wii. I went to this website
http://wiitracker.nintendo-scene.com/search.php
to find out which model of wii I have. I bought it back in 11/2007 and It said my Drive Chip is most likely GC2-D2C and my Drive Pins are most likely not cut.
My buddy has really been pushing me towards the cyclowiz, because of its updating feature.
I have no experience soldering, but my buddy has a friend that can solder for me.
I saw the wlip lets you go w/o soldering and the wiininja deluxe is suppose to be amazing, but I belive I have also read wlip doesnt work w/ D2C.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

The Cyclowiz isn't compatible with D2C.

Modchips out for D2C are Infectus 2, ARGON, D2CKey and D2Pro.

Infectus 2 and Argon are made by the Infectus team. ARGON is strictly a Wii Modchip at this time where the Infectus 2 can be used on multiple systems (Wii/Xbox 360/PS3). Both use 13 for normal instillation and 13 + 4 wires for Import support. They both have programs available at this time.

D2CKey and D2Pro are from the same makers. D2CKey installation wires are 30+ where D2Pro are 15 + wires for Import support. Neither have a programmer released yet so updates can not be made to the Modchip until they become available.

I myself have a ARGON and everything works perfectly fine.
