Hi, I'm new here and was trying to find the answer to my dilema and almost found it in the "guide: ps3 in dmz" thread but there is a problem so i joined afterdawn. my ps3 is in dmz type 2 NAT using a belkin 54g wireless router. A pc is the only wired computer to the router and my ps3 is the only device on the wireless. Here 's the thing, If I shut down the PC for oh half an hour or more and disable my ps3's internet connection for half an hour or longer and then re enable the internet on the ps3 i get a network error. thats not all, upon rebooting the PC it will not "go online" either. so I checked my routers settings through my browser and all is the same except for under the INTERNET SETTINGS there are 3 fields that are blank. they are 1. the subnet mask 2.Wan IP and 3. default gateway. to fix this i unplugged my cable modem for about five minutes and unplugged the power from the router. then upon rebooting my cable modem and plugging up the router all went back to normal including those blank fields they had their numbers back PC goes online and so does ps3. so can anyone tell me why
