No - you need a D2C Modchip - D2CKey, D2Pro or Argon... D2CKey is looking a bit old even now with the introduction of the other 2 chips and D2Pro is from the same ppl anyway.

There is Infectus 2 as well. Which can also be used on multiple game system platforms (Wii/PS2/PS3/Xbox 360). Infectus makers are the same as ARGON. Which ARGON as of now is just a Wii Modchip. Both Modchips use same soldering points so wire instillation and features are the same.

I would recommend Infectus 2 myself since you get the added bonus of installing it into another system if you happen to want to experience something different. If not Infectus 2 then go for the ARGON or D2Pro. I would stay away from D2CKey all together with the new 2nd Gen chips out for D2C.

As of WiiD (DMA/D2A/D2B chipset compatible) no one should ever buy a piece of crap chip like that. The support is non-existent and is just a waist of money.

Hi - I have a newer Wii with the higher serial number. Can anyone recommend the chip I should get and also a reliable and reasonably priced fitter in the UK? Sorry mods - have tried looking through forums and can't find the specific answer. The fitters in the UK seem to be offering the DC2Key with fitting for £90 but people on here are not advising!! Please any help or point in the right direction will be greatly appreciated!

You can get an ARGON fitted for about £100ish inc collection & delivery from modchipfitters. I'd choose that over the D2CKey. You might be able to get it done cheaper if you look around.
