guess what? the best is to check out the stickies (the ones at the upmost of the thread) about pandora batt(to downdrade to 1.5) and how to upgrade to cfw.
My PSP's fate 3.50->1.5->3.52m33->3.52m33-4---->3.71m33-->3.17m33w/1.5kernel-->1.5->3.52m33->3.52m33-4

Hi,
Use THIS guide to help you. It is very informative and easy to follow.
You will need a few things to get you started:
1) A Pandora (or TOOL) battery. You can get one of these easily if you know someone else with a modified PSP, or you can buy one of THESE
from amazon or loads of other places on the net. You can also hardmod your own battery, but i wouldn't recommend that if your not experienced.
2) A Magic Memory stick. You will need a Memory Stick Pro Duo sized somewhere between 256mb and 2gb. You can then use the guide above to create the magic memory stick.
If you need any more help you can either reply here or in the guide above.
Hope that helps!

It may do, give it a try...it can't hurt anything.
If not you can pick up a 512mb card for less than £5 so thats always another option. Also i know quite a few mobile phones come with 512mb pro duo cards, especially some Sony Ericsson's, so just have a check around before you buy anything.
Creating the Magic Memory stick is a really easy process if you follow that guide...i had no problems at all and i knew very little about psp's.
Just let me know if you need any more help!
