Hi guy's I'm running 3.52 M33 CF and I understand it has a built in UMD dumper but I can't get it to work.

The instructions say to go to the VSH menu by pressing Home, guessing this is when the PSP is in that main screen, if this doesn't work turn it on from the recovery menu but there's no option to turn it on. I'm lost for what to do.

Also sorry to sound stupid whats ment by VSH and also XMB?

XMB is the main PSP browser.

VSH is a window that comes up letting you change some settings that are included in the recovery menu without going to the recovery menu itself.

HERE is a guide on how to dump the UMD using the built in dumper.

To find out if the VSH menu is enabled you will need to turn the PSP completely off (Hold the power button off till screen goes off). Now hold the R-Trigger down and turn the PSP on.

When the recovery menu comes up go to "configuration" and press X then toward the bottom of the list it says "Use VshMenu" make sure it says it is enabled not disabled.

Now exit out of recovery menu and then the XMB will come up. Now press HOME and the VSH menu should come up. Now go to the guide I provided above and follow it to dump the UMD to your PC.
