when i try to put a movie on my psp i get unsupported data i use PSP Video Manager and my psp fw is at 2.71 do i need to get a codec or something? i use psp video 9 to convert

What version of PSPvideo9 are you using?
I would suggest you use Xvid4psp for your conversions anyway.
