dvd+r wont play whats wrong

I copied a personal dvd to a dvd+r and it wont play the dvd-r plays fine. My dvd player is an APEX but is not very old. can anyone help

Hi Kane, Go to www.dvdrhelp.com. Then the section on dvd player and media compatability. Look up your model Apex and it will show if it will play +R media. It may also tell you what brand media works the best for that player.
