Ok, I have a big problem here, I don't know why but my DVD burner in my laptop now take over an hour to burn a full 4.3GB of data. It used to take 15 minutes, and then one day it just went to taking over an hour.
Nero 8 to burn my data DVDs and up until a week ago it started taking forever. I don't know what to do, I tried different brand of discs, uninstalling and reinstalling Nero and it still takes over an hour.
Philips DVD+/-RW SDVD8820 combo drive.

I think it worked! It's finishing in 25 minutes now instead of 1 hour. Thanks a lot!

read errors cause your drives to get it to PIO mode

yeah 25 minutes is along time , what your PC specs ? and what was the burn speed?
