i downloaded the snes9xtyl to my firmware 3.80 m33-5 psp.i put the emulator in the psp>game 150 folder.so the game 150 folder contains two files:snes9xtyl and snes9xtyl%. i got a casylvania rom from roms world website and i put the rom in the snes9xtyl>rom folder and it keeps saying game cannot be started.what am i doing wrong i also tried to switch between 1.50 kernal and the 3.80 folder and it still does'nt work.pls help.ps also when i go to my psp under game>memory stick i see the nes emulator there,but there is also a corrupted data file:what is this corrupted data?

do you have a 1.50 kernel addon for 3.80? if you have try to change the homebrew kernel to 1.50(in recovery menu). then exit and try to run the emulator again

it means you do not have a 1.50 kernel add on... double posting dude its against the rule

sorry for double posting it was an accident and could'nt erase the one after i edited it.anyways i'm pretty sure i have the 1.50 kernal because it allows me to switch between them in recovery mode.it says in recovery mode"Game foder homebrew(currently 3.80 kernal)" but it allows me to change it to 1.50 kernal

have you tried to install it on your own? or you just depending on the on the recovery mode? as far as i know it will change even if you do not have a 1.50 addon... so you better install it and see for yourself... then try to change again in 1.50 and try the emulator
