The programs you're using are very much outdated...it's time to move forward.

Here's a thread that outlines your best options.

I've not seen a good word said re ANY version of the so-called DVD Cloner software, we even have 4yr old threads here stating it's not to be trusted.
DVDFab will see you right, which movie are you struggling with ?

That's an old flick. I had not trouble with it using dvd shrink all by itself a couple yrs ago.

Is the disc in good shape? Make sure it's not scratched, cracked,or dirty.

You could also try ImgBurn. It's a very good aggresive ripper, if the disc has any scratches on it.

Yes I tried both and I tried Scuba's cleaning advice as well, thanks for your input and yes it was quite scratched up. I haven't had any trouble lately, in fact I just ripped American Gangster w/ no problems. I'll try a replacement next week...no worries

If it's damaged, there's a shot ImgBurn can rip it. No 100% guarantee, but a shot at it. ImgBurn is also freeware.

Time to dump that DVD Cloner rubbish, stick with DVDFab, check for updates often (it's updated very frequently)
