Hey people.
I know I can't play foreign region discs without modding my PS2.
But what if I use foreign images on a ps2 with HDloader/hd advance?
Will that work?

I was wondering cause I want to play Nights Into Dreams (JAP ONLY) and Dark Cloud 2 (US) on my PAL PS2

What kind of ps2 do you have? Is it NTSC?

And if it's not modded you wont be able to play PAL

HDloader/HDAdvance Copies the game image as it is. If it's PAL It goes over as PAL. NTSC then NTSC etc.


However if you are US then DC 2 will work if the imagine is put on.

I have a PAL PS2 and a US image of dark cloud 2.
If I put it on my harddrive (via WinHiIP) and boot it, will it play?

Well I tried....it works like a charm!
I played "Nights Into Dreams", which is a JAP only title.
I works perfectly....only thing is, my japanese is a little rusty (LOL).
Glad the option menu was in english so I could turn AUTOSAVE on.

Gonna do Dark Cloud 2 tonight :)
