hdloader elf problems

Hi guys,

I have got fat ps2 scph 30003 and hd advance.
i am trying to play my backed up shadows of the colossus which wont play on hd advance. so wot am doing is booting up ulaunch from hdadvance and
loading up hdloader v0.8c.

hdloader comes up with all installed games but no matter wot game or combination i try it goes black screen once i try to boot game.

hard drive light in the ps2 on lights up once and thats all i get.

ps:: i have tried most hdloader version but no luck.

Please any suggestions?

Just when you select game. Then Press Select on the PS2 Controller.
Then select the 3rd option(Thats Mode 3), Press Select on controller again to save, and start game.
See if that makes a difference.
Or if you have tried all that, is your Shadow of the Colussus the same region as your PS2.
You may have to patch the ISO to your region first.

thanks for your reply, the thing is that some of this
games i can play using hd advance using the right modes but
not on hdloader.

for some reason hdloader shows the the game but makes no effort
to read from hdd when u press "X".

is it because i havnt got the full disc?
