Please excuse my extreme ignorance here, but I'm as amateur as one can be when it comes to DVD encoding. I have been using DVD Shrink for compressing DVD-9 to DVD-5 some time now and with great success. However thinking that I might sometime soon purchase a large LCD monitor, I've become curious about backing up DVDs at full quality. I've noticed also that DVD Shrink has a selection for DVD-9 in the preferences for output. If I select this, will DVD shrink backup the DVD with no compression? Or is it more complicated than that. If DVD Shrink will not do this, it there an alternative out there that's as simple and seamless as DVD Shrink for backing up full quality DVD-9s?
Thanks in advance for any advice I receive on this matter.
Cheers.
Alex

Best way to back up to DVD-9 IMHO is

1) decrypt to HDD (either dvdfabhd or Anydvd )
2) Use Imgburn in build mode to creat DVD-9 iso
3) Burn iso with Imgburn in write mode

Imgburn, IMHo, is the best dl burn engine out there.

Imgburn free from

Hi :)
the easiest way to burn a D/L i've found is with anydvd running in the back ground using DVDDecrypter as follows. also Decrypter (the same authour as IMGburn) handles the layer break better than most

anydvd download (gives you a free trial)

after it is ripped to HDD

if it does not auto select the file you have just ripped
