Hi, im on a fat psp with 3.71 m33 and I'm thinking on upgrading to 3.90 m33 but the main this stopping me is the memory stick lagg. i know dark-alex made a patch but ive heard it doesnt entirly fix th problm. so basically i want to know how bad is the lagg and does it stop you from doing anything. eg playing my Grand Theft Auto cso (my umd got stolen grrrr)
Thanks

Edit: Whoops i think i posted this in the wrong section should be in 'PSP - Mod and firmware discussion'. lol this is what i get when i have multiple tabs open =)

The first version of that patch may not fix the problem, but the second version most probably will :)

I dont know about any of these patches but stopped all my lagging by formatting my ms from fat32 to fat, take a look http://www.qisahn.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=14&chapter=2

yes, reformatting a 4gig to standard FAT is recommended. my crisis core cso runs better, and the fmvs have no stutters.

Oh yeah :)
Do format your PSP to "FAT" :)
I always format my PSP to "FAT" and also, I'm on 3.90m33-2 now and the "Fatmsmod patch v2" is installed in my PSP and darn the games work fast and also, as soon as you choose the "Quit game" option, it directly goes to the XMB in 1 - 2 secs :)

Well, after updating your firmware to 3.90m33, there have been many cases of the memory stick being read slow and many lags in games :)
"Fatmsmod patch v2" fixes these problems :)
In v1, then music, vidoes etc. couldn't be read :)
But v2 has fixed these bugs :)

added the patch to my 3.90 m33-2 slim, and it's slightly better. the game video and picture, in the xmb, loads faster. also, all speeds are set to 333; gotta love the longer battery life of the slim and 2200mAh battery.
