I'm sorry I'm kind of new to the psp, I did ask before if I can download psp games. and yes I found out how to. its eazy.

this is not about the same thing, along the same lines.

Can I put pspISO game file on a new firmware like 3.80, the file might still work on the memory srick. I have the slim 3.80-firmware. and if not how do I make my own firmware, and making your own firmware will that hurt your psp.?

I know I'm asking alot, you can put a link for me to help me, or can just tell me whats best. I have found out a cool way to get psp ISO games to put the memory stick,

will this work on the 3.80 firmware?
thank you for your time.

You don't make your own firmware as such, you use Dark Alex's software. You cannot play iso's on official firmware. See the stickies for Universal unbricker for offical firmware

not quite true, 1.5 can use loaders to run isos but those loaders won't load much past 3.11fw games, so D_A (the genius that he is) wrote his own CFW based on the sony fw. This has a built in loader of .isos - i highly recommend his cfw but to install from ofw you either need to downgrade to 1.5 first or use a pandora battery mstick combo to install...

1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

If you are going to Try to Custom firmware your PSP Make sure you look at stuff about Slims and read all the directions, Slims are Just getting to be Newbie resilient from what I see. And you won't be able to go down to 1.5 with a Slim. It is my understanding that Slims go directly to Custom firmware with a good Pandora Battery/Magic Memory Stick combo.
