Is there any list i found only ps3 compatible list.Or maybe someone can help me with this one:My ps2 din't boot cd and dvd(movies) so i used a link that smokyrain(bye the way thanks for that) gave me.I cleaned the laser and Adjusted Lens angle, after that my ps2 booted up cd discs(ar max evo) dvd movies,ps2 orginal games but when i inserted my ps1 games(i haw like 6 of them,but i don't know where 3 of them are):So
1)gta2 came up with an error insert playstation or playstation 2 game
2)risk came up with the same error.
3)Colin mc'rea rally booted as an audio cd
(they all were scratched but on my psx console they worked fine and when i converted them with alcohol 120% to play them on my psp only 2 of 3 came up with reading errors).

Ps. can anybody tell me how can i know if i haw pal or ntsc console cos i bought my ps2 from some guy and i don't know where he bought it.

As far as i know 99% of ps1 games are compatible with the ps2, unless they are backups of course. If so, you will need your console to be modded in some way to play them. I have a modded ps2slim and the only way it plays backup ps1 games and dvd movies is to reset it 3 times. Try that and see if it works.

The simple way to know whether your console is PAL or NTSC is to flip your ps2. Look at the sticker where the model number is and find the the words PAL or NTSC written on it.
