I know there is prob several posts about this but reading one now but god its lite 70 pages and no answer in site and prob was answered months ago but just read it and little worried. while i'm still reading through it thought it would be quicker for someone to answer as i'm at work and can only read a page every once in a while. I know US version hasn't come out yet but just preordered it a about a week ago and didn't think anything about not being able to play it on modded wii.

Yes it will not work. I'm adding a switch on mine so that I can disable the Wiikey and let the legit copy work.

Would it work on a non-wiikey modchip? If so, I am thinking of taking the wiikey off and installing something else.

ok before i start panicking is there any possible way that there will be a patch for the wiikey to make it so it will work. and if not how hard is it to put in a switch?

I personally expect a wiikey update - whilst there is always a possibility it may not come I keep faith until I read officially it won't happen.

Edit - actually if SSBB backups work then maybe they won't worry about original compatability... I'd like to think they would keep supporting wiikey :S
