My Burnt Games Just Don't Work!

When I download a game and unzipped it with WinRar I get an .iso file. I burn that .iso file onto a DVD-R disk as an image. When I go to put the finished games into my wii, it doesn't read it. The guy that installed my mod chip burnt me a couple games and they work fine. I also got one game working some how by fluke. I have gone through 25 DVD's could someone help?
I have wiikey installed in my wii. I have used Nero8, Nero7 and IMGBurn to burn and none worked. I use Maxell DVDs to burn games. (that is what the guy who modded my Wii used, the exact same DVD)
I have tried burning it on 1x 2x 4x 8x and 16x speed. I have an LG burner, not sure of the model.
I have tried disabling everything in msconfig then restarting and trying to burn the game. I recently formated my computer, would that have messed anything up?

Just cos the guy burnt a couple of good disks on his burner using maxell does not mean you will have the same success with that media on yours. Try Verbatim.

yep DVD-R ... burn using imgburn @ 4x - (8x or 2x might work as well if 4x doesn't)
