I am currently in the middle (hopefully) of a project involving the conversion of a DVD to 3D Analygraph. I am using a freeware tool to do it but things arent going that smooth. And while I would normally look to the internet to solve my problem, I can not find hardly any information on this subject.

The process is fairly simple. I put the DVD to avi, then split them into pieces, separating the scenes that i wanted in 3D and the ones i didnt want to edit. I then run the pieces through the program and it basically puts two layers of the video on top of each other, and then lets you slightly move one of the layers to create the 3D effect.

Now the outcome isnt so bad but its the playback that has me pulling out hair. On my laptop, (15.4 in. 1680x1050) screen it looks beautiful and the outcome is spectacular(better than movies like Shark Boy and Lava Girl 3D and the Spy Kids series in my opinion) So now i copy this result to DVD at max quality setting, stick in my DVD player and play on my 30 some inch flat screen tv (no HD) and it looses alot of its "wow". I have tried so may different things, even hooked my laptop to the TV via S-Video Cable and tuned it according to the TV. Still nothing good. And it would be one thing if this Video was HD, i would understand but its at a very low resolution so my laptop screen being HD shouldn't really make a difference.

I also am in need of a good site that has some pros on this subject. I have searched and searched with no luck of finding a site explaining how to do this.
