I am having a heck of a time finding help for this thing. This is the kit with the new board, usb power plug, LCD mod (optional), all of the easy stuff, and an 18 pin PIC model 16f628a.

I don't know what the dial is for, nor do I know which way is right side up on the chip. Am I going to need to use a programmer, or can I use the "setup/configuration" disc with a gamecube controller. It is said to automatically detect the original region, when you first boot it up, and then you are supposed to be able to run the config right on the wii. I am probably reading that wrong.

Also, is the switch for turning the thing on or off? Any help will be appreciated. If it matters, I am going to swap my GC2-D2C with an older one, so I would think the install should be easy. This is my first go around on a wii, but I have done a bunch of chips on other consoles, so the mechanics of the whole thing should be straight forward.
