stuck on loading screen in patapon. 3.52 m33 - 3 fw

so i just got patapon today, ive gotten 2 different iso files of it, one usa one eur and well after i run the game the sce presents, japan studio and pyramid logos come up, but after that the NOW LOADING screen with the three white patapon rolling their eye comes up and it just loads forever. Is it supposed to take long to load? is there anyway to get past this forever loading screen? i am on fw 3.52 M33 - 3. Mods please move this thread if it is in the wrong location and everyone who helps out, Thank you alot :) i just really really want to play patapon!
ok well i searched ( sorry for not searching before posting ) i tried channging to sony npc97080606 w/e it is and well its still getting stuck on the loading screen. i will update my psp to 3.8 m33 before i try again. i shall post back with my results in an hour.

Moved to mod & firmware forum :)
Update to the latest cfw balkie16 - 3.90 m33-2. It's a newer game so it probably needs higher cfw.

easy installer and well when im updating it looks like im gona update to official 3.80 fw. can anyone confirm its 3.8 m33 or 3.8 sony?

that is the place i found the link. its just that im kinda nervious. it looks like im about to update to official 3.8 and not 3.8m33 because after running the program from psp and presssing x to start the update, it goes to what looks like an official 3.8 update? can anyone confirm itll install 3.8m33 ? is there a downgrader for 3.8 offcial fw? just incase in the end official 3.8 fw gets installed.

Hmmm - I haven't used it but from what 07anto07 you should be good on getting cfw and not ofw.
If by some very slim chance you did get ofw you would need pandora battery & a magic memory stick to get custom firmware back.

cool i just did the update and its 3.8 m33. thanks alot for your help binkie. now to try patapon..

FYI - now that you are on 3.80 m33 you can use the network update on the psp to update to the latest custom firmware. New feature in 3.80 m33 and it's set by default to that option.

well, like..the moderator said that if i upgrade it to the newest firmware, i wouldnt have that problem, but i upped it to 3.90m33-2 and it still stuck on the loading screen forever.

Set umd mode to the Sony NP9660 driver.
I'm running 3.90 m33-2 and no problems w/ this game.
Maybe a bad rip (?)
